Inca Steps

I enjoyed watching this local artist create and sell brightly colored fabrics, as she sat on the Inca Steps, located on the Isla del Sol. The Isla del Sol (Island of the Sun) is one of Bolivia's most sacred places. It was believed to be the birthplace of the sun and is found on Lake Titicaca, one of the world's highest navigable lakes at 12,500 ft above sea level.
