My children’s book, Across the Sound, was featured in the 63rd edition of the Bologna Children's Book Fair in Bologna, Italy. This event is widely regarded as the world’s leading trade fair for children’s publishing, and brings together artists, authors, and publishers from around the globe.
This was a wonderful opportunity to share this work with the international publishing community.

This "Earth Day" illustration was commissioned by Kitsap County Public Works and the Board of County Commissioners to recognize the outstanding environmental stewardship of five chosen individuals and groups for their dedication in protecting our natural resources.

This is a no pressure course to the basics of oil painting. Learn how to combine classical techniques with modern day subject matter to create paintings of great richness and depth.
Bring a small still life or image to paint. Ideas include: portraits, landscapes, a still life, even your favorite pair of shoes! It must mean something special to you. Different ideas will also be brought to class, but ultimately the subject matter is your choice.
From monochrome to many layers to create paintings of great richness and depth.
6-week session: tuition $195, supply fee $30.
