Asking For a Miracle

You wouldn't know it to look at her, but this beautiful, strong and courageous woman was fighting stage 4-lung cancer when I first met her. "Asking for a Miracle" was painted not only for that miracle but it is also filled with symbolism of healing (hibiscus flowers and aloe plants); music (shells and trumpet lilies); family and friends (sea turtles) and the calming of nature. All of these things surround her in one of her favorite places to remind us that in the end the miracle is not in escaping death, but to live a life full of love, happiness, and friendship.
