Jeffrey's Bay
Jeffrey's Bay, located in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa, is known for being one of the top surfing destinations in the world. It was home to the international Billabong Pro surfing competition and arguably regarded as one of the best point breaks in the world. So, you would think that I would have painted some of the incredibly skilled surfers enjoying a great day of surfing. Instead, my eyes were completely glued to the beach. I couldn't take my eyes off the variety of colorful seashells that lined the beach. Each one was a gorgeous surprise. I don't think I have ever seen its equal in terms of beautiful sea shells. So, in the end, the sea shells trumped and Jeffrey's Bay remains an incredible place to visit.
