Mother and Child, Peru

During a trip to South America, near the Colca Canyon in southern Peru, I was captivated by this woman selling her crafts along the roadside. I was struck by the light that hit her face and wrapped around her child who seemed happy to go along for the ride. I wanted to capture the everyday life and living of this Peruvian woman especially the light, color, and terraced hillsides that surrounded them.
